For the past few years, I have been doing software development in a corporate environment. While developing an accounts payable system for a financial services company does have its advantages, it's time for me to try the startup thing again. Although I have worked on my own projects before, I'll be doing things quite differently this time. In particular, I'll be spending most of my time doing something else - it's the "half-assed startup".
So far I have got to the point where I have a clear idea of what needs to be built and a prototype containing some really bad code.
Over the next few weeks I'll be converting that into something ready for launch and writing a series of blog posts covering what it takes to get something started when you can't just build it yourself.
